“ First time eating here. Extensive, varied menu, so much to choose from, all sounding delicious . Casual, friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be back. ”
“ We came here for breakfast and we got the Big Benedict with the home style potatoes. It was delicious. The eggs were perfectly poached and the hollandaise sauce was to die for. The big Benedict had sourdough toast, bacon, tomato, avocado, green onion, jack and cheddar cheese, and two poached eggs. I shared this with my husband and we were both satisfied. If you’re in the area, it’s worth the try. Love supporting local businesses. Especially when they do as great of a job as they did today. Mariela (Mary) did a great job serving us; we are very excited to come back and try more of what their menu has to offer. ”
“ Our food was delicious! I got the breakfast chorizo tostada and it was phenomenal. Hubby got the chicken fried steak and ate every bit of it! I had a bite and it was flavorful and cooked perfectly. My son had a Mickey Mouse pancake with an egg and bacon and it was great as well ”
“ This is such a cute litte place, the family who runs it are incredibly nice. The amount and quality food you get for the price is actually worth it here! Highly recommend, they'll be opening for dinner soon too! ”
“ Ok, so I came here twice this week. The 1st time Google, yelp and sign in front of the place said they were open. When I arrived, they were closed. Wasn't thrilled with that so gave them a 1 star rating. I think I was a little hangry. So I decided to give them another try, this time I called ahead to make sure they were open. So this is my this my revised rating/ review. So this was my first time eating here and right away I could tell this was a family run business. Which I really like. You tend to get better results. I should add, I visited mid week, so not sure if my experience would be typical for a weekend. Anyway, I was seated right away, which was good, because I was hungry. This place has lots of great breakfast choices, so it was tough choosing. I ended up getting Liz's Scramble and a pancake. I did ask for the hollendaise sauce on the side because I wasn't sure I felt like having it. I normally like a spicy breakfast, so I also got a side of salsa. Everything was great, the food, the service, the portions and the price! All this for 20, with tip, that's a winner. Side note, I recently reviewed a place in Grass Valley that didn't get such a great rating. Btw, look at the picture of the pancake here vs that place in GV. That right there says it all. Anyway, I highly recommend this place. I'm new to the area and this place will be one of the first places I think about when I want to eat out for breakfast. ”
“ I found this place to be really good despite the interior feeling a little bleak. First they have indoor and outdoor seating. The space of the dining room inside is a little awkward as you can’t see the entire dining space. The service was pretty quick and few little mistakes here and there but nothing major. But the food was great. They have excellent onion rings and really well seasoned fries. My sandwich was cooked very well. They have an LOP sandwich that my table spent forever trying to guess what it was- lettuce onion pickle? Nope- Lake of the Pines obviously! Will definitely return. ”
“ I’ve ate here several times both dine-in and take-out. The food is always fresh, customer service is phenomenal, absolutely no complaints. I highly recommend eating here plus they have great mimosas ”
“ I am house sitting for a friend up the road from this place and gave it a shot. Ordered the Cali Benedict with hash browns and a side of fruit. 12/5 stars. Seriously phenomenal flavor in the Benedict and I really like the large cut portions of fruit. The fruit stays fresh longer in large cuts. I really felt alive and refreshed after this meal. Thank you Edit: I wanted to add that I got more food from there and it tasted even better than the first time. 25/5 stars. I hope you guys stay open forever, your food is absolutely wonderful. The flavor and quality far exceeds the price point. I really appreciate the food and friendly service, thank you!!! I asked a couple eating outside about the waffles, and I will be getting one next time. ”
